Yeah, I like using roserades also.
I was planning to use either Roserade or Sceptile for my Grass type, but I decided to use parasect, who's not as effective (not until level 55, with 40 BP, anyways...).

Yes I do agree with you there but there is also a Ludicolo (grass and water).
Although he is slow, he has some good attacks making him a good grass and water type if you are still looking for water.

I happen to have 1 if you want.

@crazygamer well, Ludicolo isn't a great attacker. Only 90 base special attack. Now, that's higher than quaagsire's base 85 attack, but ludicolo's stab attacking moves are the same case as parasect. He gets one, surf, relatively early on in the game, but energy ball takes a lot longer, as does ice beam. He works best as a sub-seeder, imo.

I'm sad that you go trough Kanto so quickly. I just came there yesterday and I already have three badges. The gym leaders are just too weak. I beat the 3rd one using only my Alakazam, which killed all of her Pokémon one-hit...
But on the other hand this way I can get the Gameboy sound thingy soon :D And besides with over 130 hours of playtime (and I barely visited the Safari Zone or Pokéathlon etc.) I can't complain that it's too short or anything

Just beat the Dragon leader. Damn that was hard, but she won't give me the badge. First I need to go through a dragon cave. So I still have a long way to go.

I agree, the pokeathlon is fun. I've already gotten 6 medalists, and I did it all without aprishakes!
Man, imagine winning the speed contest with a lickylicky, a quagsire, and a parasect as your team. :P

Pokeathlon is way better than those lame contests, at least the ones in Sinnoh, those sucked. The ones in Hoenn were better.

I loved the Hoenn contests, but the sinnoh ones were pathetic. The accessories failed miserably in my opinion, and the whole "pick the judge that no one else picks" ordeal made it based completely on luck.

The Pokeathlon was sorta hard to beat with out the aprishakes but I didn't use them. I finally got a new trainer card!!!
