Good, the DS has been a leech on the 3DS for a long time now, its time to move on. Hopefully NOE and NOA will follow suit sooner than later.

At least I got my DSi XL before it's gonna end.
I think they should not end it in NA and EU, because I think Nintendo needs to have something cheaper than the 3DS, or something else because people don't like the 3D effect (although you can turn it off).
Do you see what I'm trying to say?

Do you truly look at things positively? For example, do you look at the glass like it's always full? (Half water, half air.) Or when someone "lets the cat out of the bag," do you think it's because the person felt sorry for the cat stuck in the bag? There is a positive side to almost everythin...

They won't be discontinued in the West because the DS still sells over here.

I hope it sticks around a bit longer, keeping great DS games relevant and fairly, easily available still.

The 3DS has found success, variety, and recognition in the country, there truly is no reason to keep shipping models.

It sure has but it would take away money they can still make on the DS's because theres still a market for it and theres still a load of ds games out there new or used not to count the fact the way it looks versus the 3DS screen

By now, is it really worth the money spent on manufacturing, and shipping? Nintendo clearly doesn't think so.

I'm considering grabbing a backup DSi or DSi XL before they become unavailable. I just don't think my wife would see it as being as necessary as I do

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

I would need some time to get to find that in your source, since it's quite much the most official to ever be found. I believe you, it does make sense given the momentum of the 3DS in Japan, but could you pinpoint me which page of the report I have to look at?
