I think it's one of those games you truly either love or hate, kind of like Zengage.

I'm at a loss as to why everyone is so enthusiastic about this game. I downloaded with a bit of apprehension, and it's even less interesting than I expected. I don't see how a 9/10 is at all justified, as it's blandly repetitive and to be honest never feels particularly original in any aspect. It's not absolutely terrible, but I had to force myself to keep playing and try out the different modes, go through many waves, etc. It just wasn't very interesting or fun at any point.
Pick any one of the Art Style games and you'll get ten times the creativity, presentation, and music for your 500 points.
Oh well, at least it only takes up 24 blocks.
Ditto but not as harsh. I still have to force myself to play it a bit more to give a final verdict, though.
It saves automatically everytime you complete a wave or progress through a bonus area/boss.

I enjoy this game... a lot However, as I play it, I can see several things that may annoy/bore certian people. Lucky for me, I'm not a part of those "certian people"!
So, as I said earlier, I liked it. But now as I've had it for a day, my liking of the game kinda weakened. I admit, it's fun, but you know, it's charm and simple gameplay kind of died down on me. Now I've jus gotten a little bored with it, and really don't feel like it's worth my time playing as all THAT much. Maybe in short bursts when I have nothing else to do, but otherwise, when I'm sitting at home, it's not worth pulling out for that.
Oooooowwww... O.o My eyes are starting to huuurrrrt... I didn't know what was wrong while I was playing until I realized that I wasn't blinking at all...

Just downloaded this and Im kinda disappointed... Ive been playing MvsDK much more than it. I thinks its worth 500 points but not a 9/10. More like a 7/10 IMO.

@wiiperson: I think I see where your problem came from...you probably jumped into this game with high expectations, due to all of the praise (which I also think is extremely unecessary... ) and you did not get what you expected. That's why I always purchase games with low standards and secretly hope that they surprise me. Obviously it's not a very easy thing to do to trick your mind like that, but I managed by looking around on this site for a while after I downloaded it, making me "think" the game wasn't that big a deal (I'm weird like that ). Then when I actually got down to play it, I had an enjoyable experience!

I have to say, it did not look any fun at first. Then, i just felt like wasting my money, getting pop+solo, but then I realised, I didnt waste it. It is extreamly fun and addictive, but not my favorite.
