Topic: DSi Update

How would we know when the DSi has an update awaiting for us? There isn't any message board for Nintendo to let us know.

they'll probably ask us to update when we access the Shop menu or something

I wish at E3 they announced message board for the DSi. It only makes sense to have it.

That is a good question. With the Wii we get WiiMail and the Wii lights up. What does the DSi do? Hmmm

i noticed the blue power light fades and reappears like the wii's when the DSi is closed

While we're on this topic, since it didn't get answered before once. When I go to check for updates for my DS it says there's an update available. So, I click update and it connects and gets ready, only to tell me that the system is already up to date. >_>
What's going on here? lol

@BellGoRiiing: is the DSi actually stopping you from connecting to the DSi Shop or the internet or anything and trying to force you to DL this supposed update first? if not, just stop checking for updates until it does, and you won't see that message anymore. problem solved.

I know but still i was just wondering if it always does this when you check for updates. XD

Flipnote Studio... that's the cool drawing thing they have in Japan yeah? I really want that one! I hope we get some more free DSi ware soon... I'm completely broke so every Friday I'm always sat there thinking "ohhh.... please make some DSi ware for poor students!"

Wii shop sounds the most likely.
A message board system does sound like it is missed. Don't why Nintendo decided to miss it on DSi.

Only other way really is to check Nintendo site regularly or subscribe to there RSS feed.
