I want to make sure before buying Jump ultimate stars from japan. Will I need a japanese Ds to play Japanese Ds games or can I play them on my English Ds?

There is no region coding on any DS games. You should be alright, afaik. I heard they are going to region code DSi games though.. who knows.

DS-games are region-free, DSi-games not.

you can play Japanese DS games on an English DS or DSi no problem. when they start coming out with DSi-only games, though, those will be region-encoded.

Amazing game, JUS. It also got me to read my now favorite manga, Hunter X Hunter, which I wouldn't have done otherwise.

I wish I could still play it online...
