Okay everyone since Super Mario Maker and Yoshi's Woolly World are coming to the 3ds soon. Which bring up this topic what ports/remakes would you like to see on 3ds? For me Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.
The River city Ransom Underground project. If you haven't seen it do yourself a favor and watch the trailer:
It looks way better than River City: Tokyo Rumble and despite not meeting the goal to port it to 3DS, developers have said that there's a chance depending on how good it does in sales after launching.
Splatoon for NX
Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze for 3DS.
My Top 9 Favorite Games of All time.
1. Judgement
2. Baldur's Gate 3
3. Bully (Rockstar)
4. Person 4 / Golden
5. Sonic Adventure 2
6. Xenoblade X
7. Ape Escape 2
8. Animal Crossing: New Leaf
9. James Bond 007 Nightfire
A Henry Hatsworth style Mario V.s Donkey Kong game on a 3D map...where you march the minis around on the bottom screen for power-ups, resources and unlocks etc. for Mario on the top screen.
The mini could be on the same map as Mario, just accessing areas he's unable to reach in order to help him through the level (by triggering events that assist Mario)...
...basically Mario assists the Mini (picks him up and throws him, carries and places him etc.) so that the Mini can reach areas Mario can't in order to help him through the level).
Maybe a Mario & Luigi RPG with Minis, where as part of the gameplay you upgrade your mini for battle (kind of like tower defence in reverse, where the mini is automated and has to run the gauntlet of various areas and environments). There could be wifi-play where people pitch their mini's against one another...
...although that would probably only really work as a Wario & Waluigi RPG, considering what the game would require from the minis in terms of their offensive capabilities.
Maybe it'd be a better idea for a new Megaman Battle Network side story following Lan with a robotic Megaman that he programs on the fly with his folder generating random chips/scripts to build and guide Megaman's path etc.
It might work as a Starfox minis game where you control a miniature tank (that on occasion morphs into a ship for sequences requiring direct analog control fom the player.)
@DefHalan Oh okay...I misunderstood. But yeah...it's not ideal but what else could they call it? That seems to be the naming convention. You'd have to have "64" in the title somewhere and I don't think that's really blowing anyone's skirt up this far along. :0/
Part of me wants to see Super Mario Sunshine 3DS, since fans have already proved it can work as a Mario 64 DS mod. But then again, maybe that'd work better on NX. It'd be more of a notable upgrade in regards to graphics and music there, and not be stuck on a system nearing the end of its lifespan.
