I'm very sure nobody would ever risk it, but you can. Well if youdo, then can you get it back (I haven't deleted them though), I just wanna know what happens

when i went to the system settings and went to data management, I saw the list of pre-installed apps., and when i click on one, it has this option in a box saying 'Delete'

Oh. I assume you're looking at "Extra Data Management" then. Deleting that will delete your extra data, not the actual app. Extra data meaning stuff like your Face Raider faces, your Miis, your downloaded Pokemon etc.

You can't delete any of the pre-installed software. And any paid software can just be re-downloaded from the eShop.

If you can, formatting will be the way you get them back. Though, what sucker would want to delete all of there streetpasses, etc.

I'd really, really, like to delete the Face Raiders App. I stow it at the far left along with the H & S warning to avoid having to pass over it. It sounds just like someone throwing up - its revolting, and I've never played it for that reason.
I used to be a nurse, so I can cope with real humans throwing up, but not a machine when I'm playing games
