Well, Mega Man finally has a stage on the 3DS version. I figured it would be the same, since the initial concept for the stage fits just fine in both versions due to not really being console specific. That and the fact that it's a good location to base a stage around. Interesting that it's daytime in this version, but it does set it apart slightly from the Wii U stage. Now I'm really beginning to wonder what Sonic's 3DS stage will be. Lost World is on both platforms, so maybe it will be a bit different that the Wii U stage. Or maybe not, who knows. That's assuming they use Lost World as the source material for the stage. It would be nice if there was a Sonic stage more like Green Hill Zone in Brawl, as in more retro.
If they don't reuse Windy Hill for the 3DS version, I would expect something like Casino Night or Chemical Plant for the stage.
After this, though, I sort of expect Windy Hill only at night or sunset.

At any rate, I'm glad we have some more information and screens for the Tomodachi Life stage. That one, almost teaser-like image back in March left me wondering how this would look/play. I like the idea of the rooms being randomly generated, and the walls disappearing when someone enters a room is a nice touch. Using your Mii data to create residents for the rooms also makes a lot of sense.
I'm just wondering if it'll still get Miis from cartridge saves.

Seems like this stage will be large, assuming it's a walk off. And I hope that you can see the Mii's do the things they do in Tomodachi Life, like play on the 3DS XL or Wii U, fight over things, etc.
It would be hilarious to watch, until Little Mac suddenly comes in and KO's you.
What tracks do you guys think will be playing on this stage? I thi k the Tomodachi Quest battle theme, and the main theme. You know, the theme that you hear when you just booted the game.
Me. I like dem outlines, but only if their thin. Maybe I'll turn them off, I'll just have to see which looks better in RL. Seeing my character wont be an big issue, cause I have an XL!
BTW, am I the only one hyped for the Tomodachi stage? It seems so fun, and I want footage of it!

Well, wouldn't it just be a retro stage, then? I would hate to think we wouldn't get a new Sonic stage for the 3DS and only get a retro stage in its place. It would be like only getting Jungle Japes for the 3DS Donkey Kong stage.

My guess for the Tomodachi Life stage, the music that you'll hear will be a remix of the Island theme (whatever you call it, it's what you hear when viewing your island lol)...and I guess the Final Boss theme from Tomodachi Quest, either the original or a remix.
...Kinda wished you could have multiple themes like in Brawl/Wii U's version, ah well. lol

Out of interest can anyone recall how many of the stages were revealed prior to Brawl's release? Just wondering as the 3ds game is only around a month away (japanese launch) and i think only 19 stages have been revealed so far...
Pic of the day. For the first time ever, I present to you…the main menu for the 3DS version!! The icons are even animated. The design concept may look similar if you've played other games I've worked on. But we had a hard time making this one because… The bottom screen displays pictures matching each mode! This was quite a task for the UI (User Interface) designers, but they made it happen. Kudos to them! You can tap the screen to look up additional info like how to play--complete with diagrams.
God dangit @DestinyMan, look at all the work I have to do.
SO YEAH! What I find most interesting is of course the Wii U button, but also the blue Games & More button and the pink Challenges button. I wonder what will be inside..?
