It works now! I used my orginal sd card I had been using, and redownloaded, and tada! Ready to play!

1. Deleted the sakura Samurai 2. shut off the 3ds 3. took out the sd card and insert it in the computer and did a error scan 4. reinsert into the 3ds and turn it on. 5. redownload the game and used the download later feature. 6. then bam it worked
Hopefully that works for some of you. I called a NIntendo Rep before i started this thread. So they said to keep an eye for an update.

Tried that, now I don't even get loading... I'm just getting a black screen, and have no way of telling if frozen. Happy for you though, I need to wait for nintendo's fix.
Edit: I re-downloaded without your method, I am back to the loading... which means I can at least tell if it froze.
What its up with Nintendo bugs lately. First metriod other m (which BTW got me) next skyward sword now this. I think I want to try out this game but might wait till everyone gets the all clear!

I couldn't resist. I went ahead and got it. No problems here. Enjoying this one quite a bit. A must play for strategy players. Always fresh combat and plenty of content and diversion in towns and such!

Haven't had any issues myself, but I do hope Nintendo issues some sort of fix soon. I really do wonder where the bug is rooted, is it in the game file or the SD card or the 3DS system itself...?
I get an email back, it says I need to call them to address it because they can't email me for some reason, which means I need to speak with someone. I'm not calling yet, but if I do I'll give the contents, maybe the solution will be told to me.

Well, I didn't purchase a new SD card yet but I saw that there was an update available for this game so I updated it and what do you know, it works now. I've spent some time playing it this afternoon and it is a fantastic game. Kudos to Nintendo for fixing this issue so quickly!
