Sim games that are not part of EA's "The Sims" franchise.

Most of the smaller Japanese games I've gotten on the 3DS so far have had some sort of pre-order bonus attached to them. Even HM:ANB had a pre-order bonus. I definitely wouldn't rule it out.

I meant smaller games/sim type games. Though if HM:ANB got a pre-order bonus RF4 might very well. I wasn't aware that it did.

Small games get Pre-order bonus all the time. They rely on day-one purchases. And yeah, if HM got one, RF4 might get one. If nothing else, it means Marvelous is open to it. I'll keep my eyes open, see if one gets announced. Thanks.

I can't wait for Rune Factory 4. Rune Factory 3 is possibly my favorite Harvest Moon to date, which is crazy when you consider it's a spin-off series (and HM is one of my favorite franchises). Those who'd like more action with their Harvest Moon, as well as a more mature feel, this is your series. Now to start clicking through all my marriage options for days, only to change it once actually meeting them in game. XD

Is there a site like Fogu (HM series) for RF4?

Pretty much every Harvest Moon game has a pre-order bonus. I'm not sure about the Rune Factory games.

So, do these games get hard to find fast, or drop in price fast? I'm interested in it, but I don't know if/when I'll be able to get to it.

Release date has veen pushed back to August 13th, guys. Well, It guves me more time to save up I guess.

More time to play it, too, since it won't be competing with SMTIV. It'll be worth the extra month.

Also excited for this. I've been off and on with the series, but I LOVED the one on the Wii. Excited for this title! I have a lot to play on 3DS atm — currently rotating Animal Crossing New Leaf, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Shin Megami IV (tomorrow), Harvest Moon New Beginning, and this soon.

I really hates Tides of Destiny. Was Frontier any good?
Also, will this one have online play?

EDIT: After extensive Googling, I found out that there's no multiplayer. (not even local like in 3.) Tough Luck.

Tides of Destiny was easily one of the worst Rune Factory games. Frontier is arguably the best, and it's the one I've personally spent the most time with, even after playing 3.

Well, 11 days left. I guess I won't be getting Frontier, unless it was at a discount or something.

Another Delay, friends. We're now looking at a release date somewhere between September 9 and October 8.

I might just pre order this then. Not sure though I enjoyed the harvest moon games as a kid, but after buying tale of two towns I'm not as impressed and the whole farm thing got old with me in a week... not sure if dungeon crawling would make it that much better (never played a RF game)

The dungeon crawling alone made the previous games worth it. The farming's faster in RF, and there's more focus on the RPG mechanics. I say get it.
