Strange, especially considering Nintendo said their first game for sale online would be their new Super Mario Bros game.
I will definately not be buying it though. The demo has showed me that the 3DS version is very much inferior to the other versions available, and feels like a bad port. The game is still fun, but I wouldnt get it for the 3DS. I also wouldn't be buying it online anyway, because it'd cost the same as buying a physical copy...and I'd get less for my money along with the inability to share the game, use it on another system and resell it, not to mention taking up space I use for eShop games and putting all my eggs (money spent on games) in one basket (my one 3DS) - increasing devastation if lost/broken...
...I do hope someone is looking forward to this though...
Maybe I'm missing something, but what part of that press release mentions the full game it being available as an eShop download? The only part I'm guessing could lead to confusion is saying the game will be available at retailers and online, but I'm pretty sure the online they're referring to are places like Amazon, not the eShop.

At the very bottom, it says it will be available both at retail and online. "Rayman Origins Nintendo 3DS demo is available now for download via the Nintendo eShop. The full version of the game will be available at retailers and online on June 5, 2012."
Nintendo said that NSB2 will be the first retail download, and that they are still working on programs for 3rd parties. Ubisoft would have notified us from their E Shop trailer if this is also coming to the E Shop. It's clear when it says "online" they are referring to Amason.Com and other retailer sites.
Yeah, that's what I was saying. I'm pretty sure online is just referring to being available at places like Amazon.com, not as a digital download for the eShop. The press release probably could have been worded better (there's really no need to differentiate between physical and online retailers at this point), but I think that was their intent.
I don't normally see "can be bought via retailers and online" often when talking about a 3DS game. So yeah, I still say eShop...unless they just mean the online retailers, or for some odd reason referring to the PC version, lol

Keep it PG-13-ish.
If I was going to buy it, I'd opt for a physical copy. I already have it on the Wii though, and in my personal opinion, it's pretty overrated, so I'll definitely be passing on this one.
