After the Nintendo Direct yesterday, do you think it is worth investing in the console this year for a new comer or a person who is still playing on the older 3DS? Also what did you think of the announcements?
Personally I feel the Nintendo Direct yesterday was great for the 3DS and definetly considering investing in the FE Fates special edition 3DS XL but unsure if its too late in the life cycle
If you have a 3DS then I don't think it's worth upgrading to a New 3DS. If you don't then the New 3DS is the only option you have if you're in the market for a portable system. If you wait for the next thing then you'll definitely get something better. But if you always wait for the next thing you'll never buy any hardware!

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"

I'm finding it increasingly hard to wait for the NX hahaha simply because the games for the 3DS do look great !!! The NX could come out the end of this year but this is again all rumours
Yes I think it is reason you can play Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Nintendo Ds, Nes, and Snes games and don't be surprise if we see gba games announced in the future.
In addition to what everyone said, if you have a normal 3DS and want to upgrade to the N3DS, you might consider upgrade to the N3DS XL. I did it last year and it was like a whole new world- better battery, faster loading time, nicer design, and the screens were the real surprise. cant go back to normal screens now XD
@VoltageX: I did sell my original 3DS during the start or middle of last year and I am starting to regret it. So yeah I do what to change it a bit and go for the XL version
It is a tad more stable as far as the 3D goes, other than that you have some minor new titles exclusive for the N3DS like the SNES titles coming out. I enjoy it but I can understand not actually making the upgrade to spend more money on games you probably already have purchased in the past.
