Hi everyone! I'm very tempted to start playing Monster Hunter. The problem is I own a 2DS and I think the screen is too small and it tires my eyes. I struggled a lot to play OoT on the 2DS and I actually gave up playing due to this. So is MH4 on 2DS really tiring for the eye or should I go for MH3 on Wii U? Thanks!
Hard to say...MH3U would go easier on you, difficulty wise. Though you would be behind everyone else by the time you get to MH4U. I mean Japan is already getting MHX this year...

Keep it PG-13-ish.
Yeah, despite being an older version I might end up getting MH3 Wii U. Has anyone had any experience with MH4 though, how is it on the eyes? Better or worse than OoT3D
I would recommend MH3U for WiiU if this is your case. Usually I'd recommend 4U over 3U, but it seems that in your case you wouldn't be able to get the most out of 4U. And I know 3U is a good starter point because that's where I started. 4U is the BEST for beginners, but don't worry because 3U is also very good. Just remember to stick to it, don't give up, and there's NO shame whatsoever in using help from the internet. A game like this, even experts use internet guides so it's totally OK. Have fun!

Blue blue.
I can say MH4 much much superior to MH3, it may not be in a big screen, but it's the better option. I played it for more than 200 hours on a 2DS and it never bothered me.
Anyway in this site it's preferable to search for existing threads instead of making new ones for each thing, we have several recommendation threads you can use to ask this, as well as threads for those games too.
