That means NO Mario & Sonic 2018 in the future.
Enough with Mess of 2016.

Maybe something to do with licensing, you know, with the Olympics and all that. Kinda shocked I hadn‘t noticed the lack of a Mario & Sonic at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. But then again, the novelty of those two titans meeting wore off when Sonic made it into Smash and the games were the same every time anyway. This begs the question, though: What about the 2014 Winter Games?

@GoldenGamer88 2014 Winter Games was removed from the eshop sometime before April 2016, don't know how long before but know it was missing in April 2016. Hence a 2018 game isn't out of the question @Anti-Matter.

@Grumblevolcano Well, this just further proofs my disinterest in the series lol. Figures 2016 would be gone soon, too.

I sure hope there is a 2018 game... I love the M&S Olympic series!

If anyone is interested in getting either version of 2016, I would consider getting it soon, as the price for a physical copy at the moment seems to be quite high, and my guess is that the prices will only increase when they're no longer available digitally...

The official license for Olympics tie ins went to Steep at E3 remember?

If there isn't one for 2018, I hope we see one in 2020 (especially seeing as the Olympics will be in Tokyo). I haven't played one since Winter Olympics 210 on the DS, and I remember it being great fun.
