Topic: Is the eshop down

Hello everyone, when I try to get into the eshop I get the error codes: 005-4042 then I got 005-4040. I was wondering was the shop down?

I've been receiving the same errors, but I haven't found any word of the eshop being down.

It seems to have just come back for me. Hopefully you have the same luck on your end, too!

I've been having problems as well. I'm getting "Error Code: 005-4240". Been trying to download Oracle of Seasons/Ages for a while but keep getting error messages before I can even add money to my account, lol.

Nintendo eShop is "experiencing technical difficulties".

Will they fix it soon? I really hope they do, because I want to play Ages & Seasons over the weekend...

This problem is on the Wii as well. I tried connecting to the Wii-Shop for 2 hours and keep getting Error 204965. Probably they are doing some "maintenance". (= someone at Nintendo stumbled over the network cable)

This could maybe have something to do with the fact that the 3DS has a working flashcard? Hmmmmm....

What does that even mean?
