I shouldn't have done it. I sold my 3ds xl a few months ago just because I wasn't using it at that time, I wanted a new game and I was like " pttt I'll just wait for the new 3ds xl". But now I want to play some games on it.

The 2ds is only $75 on the nintendo store refurbished and comes with a 4gb sd card. That's pretty great for one of the best systems ever made, (yep I said it )

I'll just be using it at home so portability means nothing to me and I gave up on 3D. Should I just wait for the new 3ds XL and get a new wii u game or buy the 2ds?

I recently bought my 2DS (before i only had a Game Boy back in the days...)...and i really like it...but can`t compare it to a 3DS as never owned it. I am a girl with small hands and it is comfortable to hold i must say.

Portability and 3D are basically the only things that make the 2DS inferior to the 3DS, and we won't be getting the New XL for a long time it seems, so since those things don't mean anything to you I say go for it.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Despite lacking on all accounts (screen size, 3D, mono sound, portability, etc) compared to a 3DS XL, the one positive perk - aside from the price - is that it's very comfortable playing with it

If you want to take advantage of the improved performance of the New 3DS UI and possibly play Xenoblade Chronicles on it you should just get a Wii U game and wait a few months.

You have to be sure you don't want the New3DS eventually, because that 2DS price is only great if you don't end up selling it(at a loss) later.

You may be right. I have so many games right now so adding another system might be bad. I'll wait and just get some headphones or a Wii u hard drive.
