Topic: Fire Emblem Fates US cost.

In the UK we get this game in May. I have noticed that the Special Edition is selling for over $200 on Amazon.

Is this because it is a limited edition and is no longer available or because there is a shortage?

What is the correct selling price?

Are all 3 games on the one card?

Can anyone answer this please, as different reviews suggest different things.

Also if you buy both Conquest and Birthright as physical copies does one come at a discount, or does one have to be a download?

They retailed for $80, all three games are on the cartridge. The high cost is due to limited stock, so make sure you pre-order yours.

If you buy conquest and birthright as physical copies (or digital) ($40), you can purchase the other DIGITALLY for a reduced price of $20 through the in game store.

In short, $80 for the limited edition with all 3 on the cart. For digital, it's still $80 for all 3, but you have to download Birthright or Conquest and Revelation

Keep in mind that the US is a lot more cutthroat than the UK or the broader EU when it comes to limited releases so it probably won't be quite as bad for you as it was here; nonetheless, I would plan accordingly.

Here in the US it lasted a couple of days before selling out online. Best Buy sold out in less than a day but that's because of the GCU 20% discount. GameStop also accepted in store preorders for about two days. A month later it came back in stock for a second round, and sold out in about 24 hours. So I would advise monitoring all the EU Amazon sites and GAME. I am monitoring them myself because I want to import this for the EU/UK exclusive steelbook- if I catch it going live I'll try to remember to tag you in a post to let you know.

FE Fates has 2 separate physical releases and 1 DLC-only release for a total of 3 separate games equal in size and scope. Birthright and Conquest will each be sold separately- both physically and digitally, for $39.99/ea (£34.99/£39.99). However, once you purchase one of those games- either physically or digitally- you can opt to purchase the other as DLC for half price. Revelation is the 3rd game and is sold only as DLC for $19.99. So you can buy all 3 games for the same price as the SE, you just won't get the extra goodies like the art book/steelcase.
