Topic: Etrian Odyssey IV's Blizzard King

His Absolute Zero keeps doing an instant kill on my party, And I heard using so many buffs/debuffs makes him do this. But the problem is i don't know what buffs/debuffs are and how can i tell when I'm using them do they have specific names besides buffs/debuffs? If they do then I can avoid using them

Buffs and debuffs are a shorthand name for stat-altering moves. Moves that raise your attack, defense, etc. or lower that of an enemy, respectively.

That's all I know.

H...how have you gotten this far without knowing this stuff? The skill descriptions tell you what they do, and in battle you can see what buffs/debuffs are in effect by pressing the Y button.
