I'd love a sequel because I liked kid icarus(the classic one) even more after playing uprising so when earthbound comes to VC I'd end up liking it a lot(probably). plus, people say it's the craziest RPG by nintendo and I simply love crazy and colorful stuff(I gues people might already have that impression of me when they see my avatar XD)

they most likly wont if it came to the 3ds its another reason not to get a wii u
in june I found the 3DS having so many great games is a great reason to get a WiiU as this way the 3DS won't break the buttons because of overuse(it's too late to avoid it for me... and sadly I probably won't get a WiiU until I get a job, next year because I want a solid base from what I'm learning in the first year of college before working)

Mother as a series has not held up well at all when compared to JRPGs of both today and its time when it comes to gameplay mechanics. It would tank if a new game in the series was released in the same vein of its predecessors. I think it would be best if Nintendo focused on other things then bring back a franchise that has already done enough with it's got.

I think that he means an American sequel. Otherwise, we might as well just call it "Mother 3." Nobody played EarthBound 2, because it's a make-believe title for the GBA release that was never translated. At least, I don't think.
