Topic: NSMB2 Download Codes at GameStop

I know Gamestop sells download codes for eShop games like SML2 and 3D Classics: Kid Icarus, but does anyone know if gamestop will sell download codes for Retail Games like NSMB2?

I believe Nintendo confirmed retailers could sell the codes. Let me see if I can find the article here... found it!!

@SkywardLink98 I remember that article, but I wasn't sure if gamestop would participate in this, so I thought I would ask here

I asked my local GameStop and they said they didn't know if they'd be carrying the cards or not. They no longer carry download codes for the eShop games like PushMo or Kid Icarus, so I just bought the $20 cards...

What about UK? Will they sell digital cards aswell?

That ain't a confirmation. They know as much as us at the moment.

3D classics: KI wasn't expected to stay in the store standalone after KIU launched, so you don't know what they could do. I think it's safe to say there will be a download code for NSMB2, at least there should be, as I don't know if my aunt would understand me buying 3 $20 cards for the game instead of the download code and a $20 card like I'm planning.

I've talked to a gamestop, and they said there wasn't going to be any on launch day.

I like how Nintendo are wanting people to take steps into the future of buying their games online,even though stores aren't even selling them.

I ask my friend in Game,and he said they aren't selling them.
Only the game.in the golden case.

Well there needs to be, as that's the only way I can buy it DL style. I don't want to go retail. so I don't know what to do.
