I can't wait. Loved the wii version and cant wait to replay it on my 3DS XL in nice awesome 3D.

Hmm. NA usually gets games before EU does. I'm not worried though; DK is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises. We're bound to get a release date soon.

I don't care if Europe gets it sooner, but I'd really appreciate a release date for the American version.

Can't wait!!! I've never played the original, thinking about gettin' this version of the game. May 24th is a good date for me! _{/me makes note of that Friday on his calendar.}

That's certainly sooner than I was expecting (I was expecting something like November 2013). I do have to admit I'm a bit worried this could be a very, very vanilla port though, which would definitely put me off buying it (vanilla as in few additions).

well it doesn't really matter to me (if there are no additions) since i never played the original, but we'll see

Excited half. I didnt play the Wii version, seem to fit the 3DS very well. The game seems great. I'm happy.
But... not really... cause a remake of a not old game... seriously?... -_-
I would have prefer Monster Games to work on something new, or at least that doesn't already exist :/

what i don't understand is why we can't just download all these games on release day?
why isn't it possible to simply download that game, same with kid icarus, street fighter, resident evil and tons of other 3DS games?

and why can't we download all the ds games... like chrono trigger, the world ends with you, etc.
there's really just a handful of retail games for downloa via Nintendo eShop, quite shocking/sad/annoying : /
