I was thinking if the 3ds can upload or connect to the Wii U like the ps vita can to the Ps3

If the rumors/speculations are true, then the 3DS can be used as a Wii U controller. I'm sure other connectivity will be available; I'm hoping for a VC/Ware transfer.

Well I think Sony took that idea from the rumours and Nintendo fan ideas.

Well Nintendo have said that the 3DS potentially could be used as a WiiU controller. So it seems like they're definitely looking for ways to use the 3DS in combo with the WiiU.

Just wait for E3.Asking things about WiiU before E3 is pretty pointless since we pretty much know nothing about it.

Well they did confirm that Super Smash Bros on 3DS and Wii U would interact in some way at last year's E3. As others have already said, we'll see when more details come out at this year's E3.

Connectivability is a cool new word. I'm sure 3DS and Wii U will be able to connectivabilitate with eachother, we'll see more later this year.

Its an idea but nothing has been announced yet. Maybe we might here something at E3 but than again the only ones who know for sure are the Big N.

Nintendo DS and Wii already have connectivity. It's rarely used, but they have. So, it's resonable to assume that 3DS and Wii U will have too.

The precedent has been set, particularly with the Wii/DS, GCN/GBA and N64/GBC, so there should be something at least. However, I think the biggest clue is Super Smash Bros, which will come out on both Wii U and 3DS. For there not to be connectivity between the two would be absolute madness.

Don't forget that the SNES had the Game Boy Player. It wasn't built in, per se, but it still had connectivity in the sense that it let you play your Game Boy games on your home system. So every generation in Nintendo's history, barring the first for the obvious reason that there was no handheld system that generation, has included some sort of connectivity. Not to mention that the rival PS Vita, and in some cases even the PSP, has connectivity with the PS3. It would be insane to have no form of it whatsoever when it's pretty much become the standard.
