It was a gameboy Advance game made by konami that had a light sensor, if you used it in bright daylight, it would effect the game. I thought this game was it, as the title sounds similar...

Yes. That's Boktai. I know the Solar Sensor mechanic kinda sucks, but I like the series because of the "new" sping htey took on Vampires VS Humans (looking at you Twilight... shudders)
I had Lunar Knights. I gotta be honest, I never got the appeal.
Lunar Knights was a completely different game from Boktai. Boktai was a stealth/action game more akin to Metal Gear Solid, albeit with a much heavier emphasis on the action. Lunar Knights was a straight-up Dungeon Crawler with a few twists. I liked both equally for different reasons.
I simply enjoyed Boktai because of the whole solar sensor thing, I mean, yeah you can do it in Lunar Knights too, but I never had the GBA game anymore...and it wasn't just the same. xD
But yeah, going outside to kill those bosses was fun. (and going inside at night to cheat via blacklight. xD)

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I just want Lunar Knights 2. The conclusion to Lunar Knights is great sequel material.
SPOILERS
Dumas tells Lucian that the Immortals are onto them, and that Vampires and humans may have to forge an alliance to survive. The game ends with Lucian (who we know little about) riding off into the distance in his ship, vowing he will never work for the vampires again. Aaron is left on Earth, unsure if his friend will keep his promise.
END SPOILERS
Also, there's a theory going around in the fandom saying that Lucian is actually Sabata, after he died at the end of Boktai 3 (when he says to his brother that one day he shall awaken, and see the light as a new man). The common belief is that Sartana is a bastardized/mistranslation version of Sabata.
Personally, I believe it's possible considering Aaron is the son of Trinity (that time traveling boy from Boktai 3).

...I know.
I thought the game wasn't interesting. The twists to the gameplay were kinda interesting, but I thought otherwise the game was weak compared to other dungeon crawlers. And since I'm still interested in getting Heroes of Ruin, that's saying something.
