My child is out of control with this. He is obsessed with the sound waves going up and down and is stomping, yelling being loud everytime he plays. I live in apartment so this is not good for neighbors and is driving me crazy.
How can I get rid or this app or cover microphone some way he wont know, anything please help!

It's part of the original system software, so it can not be uninstalled nor deleted.

You could try restricting access to it via the parental settings, or let your kid have fun and take the opportunity to teach him to regulate the volume or use headphones, you know, being considerate of others.

Thanks for suggestions however he is only 4 so he doesnt quite understand consideration for others so well yet. I tried parental controls and got nowhere he refuses to play anything else and is being so obnoxious with it, its at the point I cant let him play it.
He is even banging/dropping the system to see the sound waves go up/down running, yelling out of control anything loud he can do to make effect of the bird talking back sound waves going up.
There has got to be something I can do to stop this madness? Anyone?

Take the system away from him and give back to him when he's gotten a bit older. Clearly he is not old enough for it.

You could also use this golden opportunity to start teaching him. He's old enough to understand negotiation and feedback.

If he's playing rough or being loud, take the system away from him and let him know why. Give it back after he's calmed down, or after he's done something good, as a reward.

Eventually it'll be clear to him that negative behavior leads to negative results and vice versa. Repeat until he learns the lesson or loses interest.

If he breaks it, then that's another important lesson for him. Don't replace it.

Thanks for advice. Trying all this already but I will have to try sticking to my guns better. Every time he is out of control I take it and he is restricted for it for a few hours. However then he misbehaves to get it back, its a bad cycle.
He is fine with the other stuff. I put on learning games and knows how to play other games, but just refuses to do anything else but microphone at the moment.
However you guys are right, If there really is no way to block the microphone or remove it I will just continuing taking it away until he learns or take it away completely thanks
Sorry it turned it into a parenting question I know this is a gaming forum lol

Yeah nows the time to place these boundries. At this age he's testing you seeing what works and what doesn't. If you don't handle it now it's only going to get worst, trust me on this. Just stick to your guns as you said. Good luck!!

Don't worry! I guess we can help with kids when it comes to games hah.

I'm sure he'll grow out of it/lose interest soon enough . As Tasuki said, good luck.

As a side note, apparently I would use the silent treatment against my parents as a toddler, instead of tantrums. According to them, it was both a blessing and a curse.
