Hi, I need to upgrade my SD card and I'm pretty sure about getting a 32GB one but I have no clue about which one. Lexar? Sandisk? Samsung? And also about the class. 4? 6? 10?

Can anyone enlighten me please? Thank you very much.

I bought a Verbatim Class 10 32 GB card a month ago. I can say that I am very pleased with its performance. Also, there is no reason to buy a lower class than 10.

If you are able to get a class 10 for a similar price as a class 4 or 6, then go for the 10. Otherwise, I don't think it's necessary.
I have a Sandisk class 4 in mine, and it works fine.

Never thought I'd love the pink/white 3DS XL ♥

I would suggest a Sandisk, Class 10. It's a touch faster cycling through menus, folders, etc...especially once you've downloaded a lot of titles.

I say get a Sandisk 32GB Class 10. I have a Lexar w/ similar specs, but I've heard problems with Lexar's quality off and on. Mine works, but just go Sandisk.

I'd get a 32GB Sandisk Class 10 if at all possible, but Class 4 works just fine as well. I'd stay away from Lexar cards; I used an 8GB one in my 3DS for ~11 months, and by the 9th month it would occasionally stop reading the card and auto-boot me from what I was doing. It only happened a few times, but once is too many imo.

Exactly.

Ya, they don't even sell Lexar SD cards at my local Best Buy anymore. I'm assuming they couldn't continue forward to compete with Sandisk.
They made decent cards, but they weren't compatible with faster devices from what I hear, although they were suppose to.
Stick with Sandisk 100%. You can't go wrong that way.

I have a 32G class 4 and it works perfectly. I don´t know the company, it is Adata.

Well, go figure. My new and supposedly better sd card has already given me more problems than the others I've got. A couple of times the screens have remained black after opening while in sleep mode and it boots slower (always).

The ones I've been using were the 2GB that came with the standard 3DD and a Lexar 4GB C4. The new one is a Sandisk Ultra 32GB C10. G** da** it!

Actually, it turns out that I had a PNY 32GB C10 professional card all along...
