Actually, two questions XD one of them is a bit silly so sorry about that XD
I started to get into ridge racer 3D (needed the rush from a racing game), and I have a little issue with the controls. you need to press B the entire race without lifting your finger- do I have to, or is there other way? Im just afraid that after a certain time the button will wear out. in any other game you press and lift your finger, but in a racing game you have to keep pressing the entire race. does it do any damage to the button? do I have some other way around?

sorry for the bit silly question XD

no damage will come from holding a button down for a few minutes in a row.

Pressing and lifting your finger each time will probaly wear the controller out sooner than prolonged sinlge presses like in Ridge Racer. But the wear is very slow in both cases and it should last you at least a decade.

Am I glad to hear that XD thanks guys!

In Ridge racer, you need to lift your finger off the B button when drifting. It's more like a quick succession of taps when turning the corner. Only in Mario Kart, you can hold down the button all the way!
