I got my new 3ds hoping the new model would have fixed the problem when you shut the lid....unfortunately that was not case as my top screen as two marks on both sides align with where the bottom screen starts. Any idea what I should do?
Get screen protectors. I recommend getting the ones made by Hori

I have the smaller new 3DS & when I close my new 3DS I look between the bottom & top lids & I can see that my screens don't touch but my circle pad does & it leaves a mark by the volume slider. It never use to :/
I actually have that from my old original 3DS that I'm using for when I'm at home but when I take my 3DS out I leave that foam at home in case I loose it. Luckily I can rub out the mark it leaves but it's just annoying having good to do that. God help me when I take out out with me all day during the summer to a festival.
