Topic: 3DS long startup with music

Lately when I turn on my 3dsXL the screen comes up completely blank8, but the home menu music begins playing. Another 7 seconds later, the screen finally shows up. Is this normal, or should I look at getting it repaired? If I turn it off and turn it back on a minute or two later, it turns on fine. However, turning it on after several hours gives me a longer display loading time.

@pokeytrev: It's definitely not normal. But I haven't turned my 3DS off since I dropped it in the snow in December. So it probably wouldn't bother me, personally.

@Nicolai: The strange part is that everything works as it should. There aren't any other red flags.

@pokeytrev: Yah, I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Repairs can be expensive. If you do get it fixed, though, make sure you send it into Nintendo without tampering with it yourself. That's the advice people usually give here.
