Intrigued, will look out for more info on it in the future but I can 100% say that I will not play any free to play game with microtransactions. Release a full version of the game and then you'd have more of my interest cause I'll never play a free to play game on a console.
Heres some translated info I got off another nintendo site (nintendoeverything.com). It explains whats going on in a lot of the screenshots
Sheik - Toys with her enemies with ninja like movement - Uses the harp as her main weapon - Also carries knives - With the harp she can play magical melodies to assign various elemental attributes and to attack with that attribute - With the power of flame Sheik can drop flaming boulders on enemies - If you perform “unleash of magical power”, you can use the power of lightning to sweep enemies - Sheik speaks in a mysterious way that has hidden hints of the future - Sheik is addressed as a brave warrior from the Sheikah tribe; there is no word that she is Zelda - In the story, Sheik appears before Link and co. and suggests cooperation
Princess Ruto - She uses magic to summon water, move and attack - Ruto can also unleash power that has been gathered from attacks to shoot water - She is proud but has a gentle heart
Lake Hylia - When Cia twisted dimensions, lake’s surroundings were influenced with ice - Sheik and Impa encounter hostile Zelda in the water temple - Zelda also has company in the form of some monsters - Sheik aims the mirror of truth towards the person who looks like Zelda and… (Famitsu doesn’t finish the sentence)
Darunia - Has superhuman strength and handles the heavy hammer with ease - His specialty is a rolling attack - He can also summon the power of fire by hitting the ground
Death Mountain - Sheik and Impa walk towards Death Mountain to stop some monsters - On the way they encounter a fairy who tells them that unusual things have happened - Sheik and Impa then speed up their travel - But does that fairy shout “Hey!” with robust voice?
Impa - Uses halberd with a fire element - Can attack enemies with giant blades - Can also create walls of fire to pincer enemies’ movement or create dragon of flames to burn down enemies
Lana - Uses a big branch and lends the power of the Deku Tree - Uses seeds, leaves, and roots to attack - Can plant seeds into the ground - The seed will soon grow and when the transformation is complete it will unleash attacks; you can ride the Deku child - She can use the Deku Leaf from Wind Waker to blow enemies away from a large range
Faron Woods - Original stage for this game - The center piece of the forest is the Great Deku Tree which is huge and has many branches - Great Deku Tree acts as a guardian deity - People have built a village in the forest; they can take shelter in the caves of the great tree
Other - You can pick force shards or kill enemies to build up knockout/musou attack meter - When it is full you can unleash a powerful knockout attack which attacks enemies from a wide area - There are also items that build up a magic meter - When full, you can perform “unleash of magical power” - This effect lets you attack faster
Boomerang - You can obtain the boomerang from a treasure chest and use it as an item - If the boomerang hits an enemy, it will make it stand still for a short amount of time - You may also acquire strengthening item which transform the boomerang into the Gale Boomerang - Gale Boomerang springs forth a tornado which will make enemies float - If enemies are hit when they are midair they will take more damage than usual
Skulltulas - There are 100 Gold Skulltulas in the world - One will appear as an enemy if certain special conditions are met - If you slay one, you will get an illustration piece - You can find information about Skulltulas in the stage select screen - You will know that a Skulltula has appeared from a spider web like marker on the map which also pins down the location - Then you have limited time to find and slay it - If you are nearby, you will hear a rustling sound - In the picture, one of the Skulltulas is under some large boulder so bombs are needed to uncover it - Skulltula appearance is related to used weapon/character, at least in some cases
Weapon bags - You can pick weapon bags from slayed enemies - Obtained weapons are random and you won’t know how good the weapon is until you clear the stage - You can also find “sealed weapons” from treasure boxes - These increase the amount of types of weapons that a character can use
Weapon information screen 1. Weapon name; in the picture it is a variation of Biggoron’s Sword. 2. Rarity of the weapon. More stars means rarer. 3. Attribute. There are fire, water, lightning, light and darkness. If you use attribute that enemy is weak for, the damage will increase. 4. Attack power. 5. Skill (in picture “rupee increase”). 6. Sealed skill. Needs to fill requirements to unlock. In the picture, you need to kill 3000 enemies 7. Empty slot. You can fill these in the junk shop. At maximum you may have 8 skills.
More details on weapons/shopping - Junk shop is part of the shopmall - In junk shop you can compose stronger weapons by switching skills - Ex: swap a skill from a powerful weapon into your favorite weapon - There are limits on how many skills of a same skill group you can have in one weapon at once - It seems that the weapon from which the skill is swapped from will turn into materials and so it is lost
@Captain_Toad And Id say dont get your hopes too high with that cause when they did a collab like this with one piece, their 1st game only had like 10 playable characters and Boss characters werent playable. Most of those characters were then added in the sequel and theres no indicating they wount repeat the same here
@CaviarMeths lol that had me cracking lolz Its almost like, "Im a psychotic murderer who cant help but giggle creepily before murdering hundreds of foes" lol
Wow I love her move set so classy yet practical cause I can see myself doing major damage with her. Now definitely one of the characters I look forward to playing as ^_^
@BertoFlyingFox pre-orders arent available yet...at least not in canadian game stores. But I think its only japan thats able to pre-order this game right now
@Link506 Woah I see using it like that actually makes sense I guess. And yeah including agitha seemed pretty farfetched to me as well. Though I'd only be annoyed by her inclusion if she comes at the expense of more wanted/favoured characters.
@Shotgunryugan Nah, Ive played a couple of warriors games and I can say that the Empires series is certainly different from the rest considering how strategy and planning plays a key role in the gameplay. Along with the button mashing of course. But recruiting officers, the importance issuing commands during battle & implementing strategies sets the empires series (or at least Empires 7) well apart from the rest
@Emblem Yeah Empires 8 is another in the warriors series Im looking forward to. Empires 7 was the first in the warriors series that I got hooked on and purchased. Ever since I randomly tried out the ps3 demo, I was sold on the idea of creating your own character and being able to conquer all of china as that character (my first CC being a master swordsman) as well as all the other goodies that came in that game. Wish they published those for wiiu but oh well. Tried other warriors games after that but none have held my interest as much as empires did so I can only wait for the next one.
The character they made beck out to be is lame and that's just horrible. And the "comedy" wasn't funny AT ALL. Came off as very forced, seems like they tried too hard in the wrong areas
Lame. I can already see it'll be annoying to play as her cause her move sets suck when it comes to the practicality of mowing things down while feeling you have control of the character. Koei always pumps out a character/characters that suck to play as in their warriors games and she seems to be one of those. Definitely my second least favorite character after Link.
This game would be the first time I'll be playing as link the least in a zelda game. But thats probably cause it'll be the first time I'd get to play as anyone besides link in a zelda game. Anyways he's definitely my least favorite out out all the characters shown so far.
@ThreadShadow was thinking the same thing about the legs. A bit dissapointed about it actually as I Impa is the character I was looking forward to playing as the most in this game. I was thinking she would be styled more towards her Oot model but oh well, at least its not a deal breaker for me as I love her moveset but certainly count me dissapointed with those legs.
Edit: On a second look her legs are actually ok when she's standing upright. So it probably has to do with bad animation of her lower stances.

@AlexOlney Yeah I noticed that too! But wasnt sure as I didnt think the windwaker could be used as a weapon lol
I'm so hyped about all the female character reveals, hope there's still more of them to come! XD
As of right now Impa is still my favourite though
Re: Fi Confirmed For Hyrule Warriors Along With Skyward Sword Costumes For Link And Zelda
@outburst Im also hoping for a toon/windwaker link as he might be more interesting than the current link they revealed, whom I find boring
