@Ooccoo_Jr Don't forget the massive manufacturing cost for carts back then when looking at the price of games then vs now. The amount they pay for switch cartridges now isn't anything like what those chips used to cost, and the disc systems it's negligible.
There's a reason those neo-geo games were 5-600$ a pop. Hell, SF2 Turbo cost me 80$ for the SNES the day I walked into Electronics Boutique and picked it up.
Even thinking back on how godawful the early color screen cellphones were battery-wise (compared to b&w contemporaries that didn't need a constant backlight) it's wild how long it took battery technology to catch up to where we needed it.
Everytime I've gotten a mystery package from Amazon CS just goes "keep it, sorry for the confusion" - this has ranged in products from an old style alarm clock, to a child sized knee brace, to a 250$ kitchen knife

" veterans from BioWare" "morality-based decisions seemingly at its core"
You find a group of starving children ekeing out an existence outside of the city walls. Do you:
a) Give them every single bit of money you have
b) Murder them all while laughing

Re: Feature: The 50 Best Game Boy Games - Zelda, Pokémon, Metroid, Mario And More
Once again Kid Icarus is left forgotten in the closet like nintendos unloved child. Shame.
Re: Feature: The Handheld Rivals Which Tried And Failed To Beat The Game Boy
@Medic_alert and god help you if you plugged it in too soon or left it plugged in too long cause those nicad batteries were a hot mess.
my buddy in middle school had the tv tuner, but my parents reaction to that was "are you crazy?"
Re: Feature: The Handheld Rivals Which Tried And Failed To Beat The Game Boy
@Medic_alert at least you can just plug it in after instead of sticking in another 10$ worth of batteries
