Every switch 1 game I’ve tried runs, but they aren’t pretty. I’m very disappointed that most switch 1 games run at 720p upscaled to the 1080p screen in handheld mode on switch 2. They look bad, enough that I never want to play them. It’s the DS on 3DS all over again, except this time there is no pixel perfect mode. It’s maddening to me, especially since there is a super simple solution: forcing them to run in “docked mode” would scale the output to 1080p in most cases.
I actually just replayed the first golden sun, and despite my fine memories of it, it didn’t really hold up. The dialogue goes on and on for ages, you have no agency over the story (simple “yes” or “no” answers, that’s it), the combat is actually rather shallow, and the puzzles are pretty simple. The game is pretty linear except for a few parts of you want all the djinni, which is made extra painful by the fact that there is no fast travel. This game blew my mind as a 10 year old, but now…give me FF VI over this any day of the week.
I just want better maps like the first splatoon. 2 had some great maps too, but 3 mostly all have the same narrow hallway design, which I just don’t find that fun.

Re: Best Mario Golf Games Of All Time
N64 Mario is way too high imo, put it at 5 and move everything else up and the list is perfect
