@MaxlRoseGNR It's $20 which isn't expensive at all. Especially considering the game has already been updated 3 times since it's Jan 11 release. He added new moves and just posted recently that barbed wire matches are coming.
@Mgene15 It was delayed on all consoles. They only met the Steam release date despite selling preorders through their own website. The way they choose to operate is odd but without seeing anything on the eShop I wasn't about to pre-order anything direct from them.
Wrestling Empire is better than your life, and actually came out when it was supposed to and gets updated regularly. I'm looking forward to Retromania but with the consistent problems they've had it's hard to be excited about future DLC or updates because of the developers Boy Who Cried Wolf history.
Does anyone know when this will be available to view on the eShop? I would like to pre-order or add to my wishlist. I am a little bit sketchy about pre-ordering through the designer's site because they have had false alarms with releases already. Wrestling Empire was available to view on the eShop long before it's release date and the fact that Retromania isn't is strange to me.
I have almost 400 hrs in Wrestling Revolution 3D on PC, it's so addicting. I've been looking forward for this to come out for awhile and got a Switch specifically for it. It has not disappointed at all. The game has it's flaws but so much of it is charming and adds to the entertainment. Once you get used to how the character reacts to the environment it's easy to minimize "bug" experiences in the gameplay and compared to WR3D everything is incredibly smooth. MDickie also plans on updating the game for free so once you purchase it you will get any additions at no cost. There are some features in WR3D that aren't in Wrestling Empire that may or may not be added in the future however there is enough newness to this game for it to feel like an upgrade for sure. I never really got into any wrestling games past N64 era. None could hold my attention like they could but MDickie does a great job of replicating that experience and adding a very special charm along with it. The universe he's created over the past 20 years is wonderful in itself and he definitely leaves enough in his games to reward players for paying attention.

@SoIDecidedTo Wrestling Empire is awesome, I bought a Switch specifically to get it. I can't wait for Retromania too.
Re: Review: Wrestling Empire - A Love Letter To Pro Wrestling That Falls Foul Of Hilarious Bugs
@SoIDecidedTo It's better than WR3D on mobile and pc in a lot of ways
Re: Review: Wrestling Empire - A Love Letter To Pro Wrestling That Falls Foul Of Hilarious Bugs
@doctorhino Hard Times is also made by MDickie and features some of the same characters
