@Dr_Corndog yes but most people that buy the Switch 2 aren’t gonna be holding onto their OG Switch model. They’ll trade it in towards Switch 2 on release day or trade it in sometime shortly after. Which is why backwards compatibility and ability to redownload my old Switch purchased digital games should be required
@misterflipnote if Joe has a contact and connection with someone at TPC, I wish he’d ask them about the framerate issues and why they’ve been ignored in all the updates. These are the questions that also need asked
@Sisilly_G despite S/V’s framerate issues, I can never go back to playing Arceus or Sw/Sh. The open world, colors, environment looks so much more vibrant and proper on S/V. Everything besides the base town in Arceus looks dreary and has awful color palettes
@Jeronan hopefully that’s implied & just wasn’t mentioned specifically. That’s really the “bug” people notice the most & need fixed the most. Surely they worked on it
@ActionPanther well you chose to rush instead of waiting for another update. Also, there’s a lot more to do than just getting the 8 gym badges. You can’t be that disappointed in the game if you allowed yourself to get that far!
@Dragonite89 sadly no. Only the list of Pokémon being added with the home update, is being added to the game. Which isn’t that many. Mainly legendaries and Pokémon from Legends: Arceus.
@JoeSooper don’t see why you’d think this game is too graphically demanding for Switch. There’s already more graphically demanding, larger games than this on Switch already. It’s not like they switched to Forza Horizon-style graphics. It’s still got that cartoony-style except more 3D
But what about sending out your party pokemon in the over world when you’re just hanging out? That’s one of the best parts of Arceus and there’s no reason not to include that again.
@Madder128 not really “needless” since it’s better visually than playing the GC version on an HDTV today. Plus the convenience of it being on the Switch
@BenAV yeah it appears that the recent 2D-sequel got a much better reception than the first game. Hopefully if there’s a 3rd game and it’s 3D, they fix all the issues the first game had.

Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 1.2.0 Launching "Late February", Here Are The Full Patch Notes
@mariomaster96 hopefully that’s just implied since that’s the most glaring “bug” and they have to know it wasn’t all the way fixed last time
Re: Nintendo Direct Confirmed For Tomorrow, 8th February
@Johnny44 another 2D game like Tropical Freeze? Meh. We’ve had enough of those. We need another DK64 type game. 3D platforming

Re: Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Will Receive Ver.1.2 Update Next Month
@inactive biggest “glitch” is the framerate. That needs to be fixed above all else

Re: Nintendo Hypes Pokémon Scarlet And Violet's Rich Open World As An "Evolutionary" Step In The Series
@shoeses that’s fine when it comes to having to beat gyms in a certain order, since of course all gym leaders will be at different levels

Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet Announced, Releasing Worldwide On Switch In "Late 2022"
@Lizuka Arceus isn’t a new Gen though and GF has two different teams , which is why it was able to be done so close

Re: Hyperkin Isn't Quite Sure What Route To Take With Its N64 Clone Console Yet
@Cosats
Because Nintendo could end up not releasing a N64 Mini, and if they do there’s always the chance it’s missing several great games.
