I'm studying Library Sciences right now. I'll have to look into this in a few years. This is establishing the archives. I figure an opening will open in a couple years to pad out the staff
The funny thing about the flexible screen thing is that they actually make flexible screens (not just small ones for phones, but full size monitor ones as well. If somebody wanted to they could actually recreate that product with some ease. Just a chassis, a bendable screen, and a mechanic in the center that retracts and extends. There would need to be some tinkering to make sure the extending mechanic doesn't create a crease, but it wouldn't be too hard to trial and error it.
I should start putting together a list of games I want to rebuy portably on Switch and see if the total comes out to the cost of a Steam Deck or not. Buying the Deck regardless, just wondering if Switch tax makes it so it's a bad deal to buy it on Switch
I actually liked Furious Racing. I got it for 2 bucks on Steam. Not worth full price but it's fun if you're a Garfield fan. I played for a few hours and didn't notice that many bugs or glitches. Microids doesn't have the best games, but they to on sale often. If you think their games are bad, look at the recent Popeye game. Asterix and Obelix are fun games, the Smurf one was good, and Garfield is at least enjoyable.
Consoles are any device that can play interchangeable video games. As we have seen home consoles can be changed into handhelds. Handhelds as well can be plugged into a tv in some cases. Plug and plays cannot change the games they play, but consoles can.
I hope he takes an extremely long vacation , gets Nintendo to let him do the Kirby game of his dreams, and then retire, maybe doing some small projects when he gets bored.
I wasn't expecting much, really just a few ports and some realistic things, but literally none of it happened. I didn't expect Switch Pro or any Zelda really, just a few things like Crash 4, Silksong, Pokemon Snap, and (not very realistically) an emulated port of Prime Trilogy. Instead, we got even less with the only big things (in my eyes) being Mario Golf, Zelda, and Splatoon. Even then, Zelda is controversial and a lot of people (myslef included) won't pay $60 for Splatoon 3 after Splatoon 2. Mario Golf was literally the only thing I liked in the direct, so it definitely did not live up to expectations, even though I was being as realistic as I could.
I'm calling it is: Crash reveal for Smash Crash 4 info Metroid Prime Trilogy (no 4. Just an emulated Prime Trilogy) Pokemon Snap info 10 minute presentation with 7th gen ports from 3rd parties+a few Indie games Silksong Animal Crossing update Switch Pro Mario Oddysey 2 news (launches with Pro, plays on both consoles) New Joycon colors Switch Online games (still only NES and SNES. I think Nintendo is going to release their handheld games in collections eventually instead)
Since they are having a Direct for the first time in forever, I do think it is just something special to have a Switch Pro reveal. I think Nintendo is going to go back to the content drops after this. The last 2 Smash characters definitely will be a Pokemon and I do think Waluigi has an actual chance. I think they were planning on adding him in Ultimate anyways, but the fan reaction made them think it would be a good idea to save it until last. 2nd to last Smash character in a Pokemon 25th Direct, and the last one in the Summer Direct I feel is going to happen for announcing late 2021 games.
I think Zelda stuff will be in a few weeks with a Zelda Direct with: BOTW 2 teaser Zelda Collection Zelda 2D remake
You know what would make them more money? A port of Rayman: Origins. Rayman Legends had some, but not all of the levels. I need that game on Switch. (Even better, a new game) @not_soos It is missing a few. It has 40 of 66.
@anti-matter I would love to see a Lego game with their 1st party IP too. I would love to see some of the older themes like Agents or Atlantis get games

It would be more fitting, especially with the rampant anti-consumer practices. (This is just a joke BTW. We don't need to start another argument)
