Re: Digital Foundry Delivers A Technical Breakdown Of Switch 2's DLSS

Is a good video. So, we are expecting a lot of 1080p -30fps games with the better version of the dlss, and the other one for faster, or " higher res" games? I suppose that for semi static games (turn-based, rpgs, games that plays from a distance) the second one could deliver 4k like visuals without compromising too much.

@Truegamer79 Sadly, in this day and age, we are. if you really think about it, is already a miracle that Nintendo continues giving the physical options, as the other consoles will start moving digital only to have more control over the prices. i get what Nintendo tried to do with the keycard thing (giving you the option to lend, sell) but is a middle ground with all the bad things of both physical and digital games at once.

@Truegamer79 well, i know how you feel, just download it digitally, at least you will be able to boot it whenever you like, and don´t have to go around with that horrible keycard.

I know, is not optimal. but this is not going to get better. a lot of games will simply not fit the 64gb cartridge even if they want to because nobody cares about compression and well managed storage space.

Re: Talking Point: Is Nintendo Making As Many Games As It Used To?

well... that's not bad numbers coming from Nintendo, being the Switch 3 and a half years old, plus the COVID situation, having 50+ games from first and second party teams it's a lot.

and to be honest, the quality have been better and with more content.
Biggest Zelda game, Biggest Mario game, the more complete smash/ mario kart, and so on.

Re: Nintendo Finally Opens A Second Official Retail Store

We had an official store in Bogotá, Colombia during the the Gamecube - Wii era. I remember doing a really long line to get Smash Bros Brawl back in 08. Sadly, with the poor sales in the last years of the wii and with the Wii U, it closed a couple years ago.

I'm pretty sure that something like the X1 can't be named "old tech" being only two years old and being that powerful for a portable device, hell, remember that for 300$ you are getting the console, the controls, the dock and the cables... Maybe we are getting a little picky for the consoles while nobody is saying anything about buying a $800 phone that last two years or so.
