@Jack_Goetz yes, some sofware updates let the dlss improve over time, my old rtx 2060 laptop was one of the first with that technology, and it has got better with time, i hope the same for the switch that has newer tech inside.
Is a good video. So, we are expecting a lot of 1080p -30fps games with the better version of the dlss, and the other one for faster, or " higher res" games? I suppose that for semi static games (turn-based, rpgs, games that plays from a distance) the second one could deliver 4k like visuals without compromising too much.
Well, one thing is royalties and commercial ownership. in that case, the artist had to be more cautious originally when signing, is sad but that's how it works.
Having said that, HE IS the intellectual owner, and we will always be grateful for such and amazing song. Thanks Johnny Gioeli.
If they at least gave the option to have a performance mode.. I had fifa 18 on my switch 1, fluid 60fps 7 years ago. Heck, the Ps4 runs FC26 at 60fps... This was a wrong decision from the direction of this game.
I would love a TV Star Fox series or movie series. Animal-space opera anyone? Like the old Disney Robin Hood movie but in space, with Arwings, explosions, and an orchestrated soundtrack. One can dream.
@Truegamer79 Sadly, in this day and age, we are. if you really think about it, is already a miracle that Nintendo continues giving the physical options, as the other consoles will start moving digital only to have more control over the prices. i get what Nintendo tried to do with the keycard thing (giving you the option to lend, sell) but is a middle ground with all the bad things of both physical and digital games at once.
@Truegamer79 well, i know how you feel, just download it digitally, at least you will be able to boot it whenever you like, and don´t have to go around with that horrible keycard.
I know, is not optimal. but this is not going to get better. a lot of games will simply not fit the 64gb cartridge even if they want to because nobody cares about compression and well managed storage space.
@Scoopz but Scoopz, that exactly what im saying. If the focus in graphics is more important that porting the game, something is wrong with the art vision and intentions of the developers. How many more drops of sweat and hairs do you want before thinking "yeah i think this is enough visual fidelity"??
If porting a fighting game is a lot of work for the developer, something they are doing is wrong. Maybe the game is not well optimized. At any case, this is the results of years and years of this graphics focused market. I remember tekken on the GBA...
well... that's not bad numbers coming from Nintendo, being the Switch 3 and a half years old, plus the COVID situation, having 50+ games from first and second party teams it's a lot.
and to be honest, the quality have been better and with more content. Biggest Zelda game, Biggest Mario game, the more complete smash/ mario kart, and so on.
We had an official store in Bogotá, Colombia during the the Gamecube - Wii era. I remember doing a really long line to get Smash Bros Brawl back in 08. Sadly, with the poor sales in the last years of the wii and with the Wii U, it closed a couple years ago.
@Dr_Awkward i had the original 3ds, and i wanted to play Xenoblade as i missed the Wii game, but so late in the life-span, i couldn't bring myself to buying another 3ds just for one game... Oh well
@Dr_Awkward you're right, i should not used the term failure, but let me try to emphazise it in another way... Xenoblade on the New 3ds sold more or less half a million copies worldwide, i am absolutely sure that those numbers could be much higher if the game had come to every 3ds system.
See how the exclusive "new" 3ds family failed at sales because the smaller installed base, Nintendo should encourage developers to makes their games escalable enough to run on the base and "lite switch" but also running on a "Pro" Switch and using the graphical boost to use better textures, more resolution, etc... (just like some Xbox One X games)
I'm pretty sure that something like the X1 can't be named "old tech" being only two years old and being that powerful for a portable device, hell, remember that for 300$ you are getting the console, the controls, the dock and the cables... Maybe we are getting a little picky for the consoles while nobody is saying anything about buying a $800 phone that last two years or so.
@gamermole I'm almost sure he only answered yes from a legal standpoint. MGS TS is one of my favorite games on the GCN. Can you imagine a remake with some new textures and a resolution bump?
