If that is the case, they should have just left out the Genesis games. Or tried to get a handful of Sega Saturn or Dreamcast titles instead. These Genesis games are widely available already. Or they could have just included GBA, or DS, or GameCube games.
I agree with a lot of Kamiya's point. It has definitely led to inflated prices for certain titles. Chrono Trigger (SNES/DS both expensive), and Pokemon Gen 4 and Gen 5 (easily $120 - $200 for complete copies) immediately come to my mind but there are countless others. The original copies of these games would probably still command a premium, but probably not quite as much as they do now.
@Heavyarms55 It should come in a cherish ball, so it is different from a normally obtainable Porygon-Z. There are a decent amount of people who collect all the event distribution Pokemon.
It def is way easier the last few generations (especially in Gen 8) to make competitive Pokemon. I think its a good thing since it makes competitive play a lot more accessible.

Re: Blizzard Arcade Collection Announced For Nintendo Switch, Out Today On The eShop
For $20, I would expect at least a couple more games.

$34.99 is a bit expensive, although it is nice that it's $60 for both. I am really hoping for a physical version though.
