This was a great company, emphasis on the was, now its just pure garbage, the shipping times, lack of customer service, mistakes in shipping things and the latest doom collection issue asking customers to send back cartridges so they can remedy the situation THEY created with Bethesda.. International shipping is not cheap.
The digital is $40, an extra 10 to have a physical seems reasonable, would be nice to see them hold off until the DLC is done and have it included on the cart.
PlatinumGames are well known and make quality games, its weird to see them sell through LRG, no hate, its just a weird choice.
@Tobiaku There won't be one unfortunately for zero as it was developed in house by Limited Run, fortunately 2 will be and it's already up on play-asia.
What happened with the JP release of Cotton is criminal, selling a game as "english included" then pushing an update patch which PERMANENTLY removes english as an option after preorders ended.
As for strictly they couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery, how many of their games actually ship within a year?
Is it more than the digital? yeah, funny that when cartridges need to be made, inserts printed, assembled and shipped games cost more, who would have known?
I get that to be one of the cool kids you have to hate limited run and put up arguments about how it takes forever to ship, very few titles take over 3-4 months, there are exceptions but very few, Celeste, Panzer dragoon (which were delayed due to waiting for DLC and patches and tiny metal due to a dispute with the dev's)
It seems like they can't win, they did limited quantities people complained and said low runs enable scalping, they moved most games to open preorders/print run sizes made to demand and people still complain.
That said, their collectors editions are just awful these days, the amount of cheap garbage included makes them an instant pass, non functioning cartridges, standees, key rings etc.
