@rjejr have you played Splatoon on the Wii U? The game looks light years better. I can't stand how the casual base of splatoon players are demanding another Splatoon game; you need to look at Splatoon 2 like smash and Mario kart, the people that pick the game up and put thousands of hours into the game (me included) have their lives into this one game. Furthermore, if you look at the timeline the first Splatoon got its life cut short due to the Wii U dying; the player base is far from getting tired of it and everyone picks up the game and puts it down after 40 hours needs to calm down.
@Yasume Anyone who puts more then ten minutes into Splatoon will see that is clearly a sequel; I'm so tired of hearing people make this argument when they most likely never played the game or gave it a chance.
Splatoon 2's includes:
New maps New weapons New specials New story mode New hub world Voice chat
@indienapolis sorry to hear that, the wii u version Should be digital; the games distribution is being taken care of by nis america incase you don't know.
It really bothers me that everyone and their mother cried for this game to come to NA, pre maturely bashed Nintendo for something (Believing Rumors before Nintendo of America even commented on the issue) they have no clue about. Now that Nintendo says they're bringing the game west everyone and their mother is going to crucify it before it even comes out; after that everyone's going to say nintendo dropped the ball and should have never released the game because it's popular to bash nintendo in 2015.
@tsukipon You should also understand they do directs throughout the year; I'd bank on the fact they have more to announce in the next 6 months. Also, everyone needs to realize whats coming out.
Rodea the Sky Solder Devil's Third Fatal Frame Super Mario Maker Star Fox Zero Yoshi's Woolly World Xenoblade X Skylanders W/exclusive Nintendo characters Mighty No. 9 Mario Tennis Ultra Smash Legend ok Kay anniversary
This is only some of the Wii U games coming this year; look at the bigger picture nintendo knows what their doing
