@Agent721 I have an Xbox 360 so I'm not completely Nintendo, just mostly but I basically have my 360 for sports games cause I'm a big fan of them... I also love to play Battlefield 3 and 4 sometimes as well, but the others don't really catch my interest that much even though they may be great games
@Agent721 I wouldn't play 5 out of those 6 games if the console and game were given to me for free... And I am happy for you that you are so successful that you have the freedom to purchase whatever you please
@brucelebnd Those prices that you gave are absolutely ridiculous...The 3DS XL costs more than $149 which is what you suggest for a Wii U basic model; Even your idea for the Wii U for $199 with three games is crazy... Ideas like that would run Nintendo into the ground eventually even though they have mass reserves of money
@Excep7ional Yeah I have a lot of fun with it but I completely agree with you that Nintendo can utilize it a lot better than they have with some games and I really hope they do so that people will see its potential... You seem to have a really balanced, unbiased view of the state of Nintendo and I respect that a lot and it's great to comment with a person like that!
@Excep7ional Yeah I just really enjoy the Gamepad and think that people are being way to critical of it when the console is still pretty young... Also many people say the screen is a bad idea but it can't be when Sony and Microsoft are pursuing their own forms of second screen gaming... The word just bothers me when used negatively and repetitively, when some that say it haven't even tried the Gamepad out
@JohnRedcorn Your really adding a lot of insight to this discussion by saying statements like your last one...Those Wii owners that you mentioned don't even possess a Wii U so their opinions on the console mean absolutely nothing to me and most other Wii U owners... Most of the people who actually OWN a Wii U have a lot of fun with it and enjoy it
@JaxonH I completely agree with your comments about the Gamepad absolutely not being a gimmick...I own a Wii U and completely love the Gamepad and the uniqueness that it brings to the console and games, It makes it a lot more fun to me...I love this website but the use of the word "Gimmick" in the comment sections are ridiculous and have spurred a growing disliking of the word in general to me
My financial situation might be in trouble if they decide to release a few different hardware types like it's said in the article that it may be an option...I really like to collect Nintendo's hardware and collectibles and I'm sure buying multiple units would be quite expensive haha
Reading some of these comments make me laugh because people like @Agent721 and @RedFireTiger keep on slamming Nintendo for their decisions. I am pretty sure Nintendo is a lot more knowledgeable in the video game industry since they've been in it for so long than others who are not even in it and never been it. Nintendo is focusing on a wider audience, not a couple individuals who want a select few things. Yes I would like Nintendo to have a few more third party titles but I have enjoyed their Wii U and 3DS games completely including the family titles. I'm not going to get on sites and bash Nintendo and announce to everyone that I'm leaving the brand because their not catering to my individual wants. Nobody really cares and it doesn't help drive the discussion of the intended topic which the comments section is for... Happy Gaming!!!
And by the way I thought the article was extremely good @ThomasBW84 just like all the others you write!!!
@HeroOfTime32 I am pretty sure the game on the White 3DS is Monster Hunter 4 which is still only available in Japan, but arriving in the US and West next year as Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
@Henmii I think that the DS game Hotel Dusk Room 215 would fit that side by side screen setup on the Gamepad perfectly... A lot of people really enjoyed the game too but I really hope that Nintendo releases more than just the games that used the DS in that sideways manner or I would be very disappointed
I guess Nintendo is trying to tap into the huge user base that the DS had...I hope they put some of the great DS games on the Wii U and the flow of games is faster than the current Virtual Console releases... Pretty good idea I think, I just hope it works out for the Big N!!!
These games are amazing with great puzzles and awesome stories... I have enjoyed the series thoroughly and can't wait till Azran Legacy is released in February here in the US..."There is no puzzle without a solution" -Professor Layton
@Windy This is a great game, I would definately recommend. It is open world and open for free exploring even after you beat the campaign of the game. It has gotten some very harsh reviews but I have found that almost everyone in the forums definately recommend and had a lot of fun with this game. RECOMMENDED TO EVERYONE
I wish Miiverse would come to 3DS but I have a really bad feeling that it will never come based on Nintendo not being very interested in it right now. Having Miiverse on 3DS would only make it more popular since alot of people have the 3DS.
I think this game is getting so many low-average reviews is because it is to busy being compared to the Wii U game. I got this game on release day and I couldn't put it down. The load times and other things didn't distract from the fun gameplay. It quickly became one of my favorite 3DS games and it is an awesome game to get for 3DS.
I am a huge Nintendo fan but I disagree with the decision to put smartphones and PCs ahead of the 3DS to get Miiverse. The 3DS is a Nintendo brand portable console so the people that own them should get Miiverse before people that potentially do not own any Nintendo branded products on smartphones and PCs do.

@SecondServing I think I will most definitely pass on a third party platform of choice...Especially the Xbox One and PS4
