@the1andonlyIKY Wii remotes are so wicked expensive because of the Wii Motion plus built in. Without the Plus, they still go for $30. The ones with the plus inside normally go for $50. At that price, it does seem ridiculous. Especially since the Pro Controllers go for the same price.
I think that the Wii U option might possibly include controller options( maybe use 3DS as a smash U controller, or use gc controller hooked up to wii u for smash 3DS controller?)
