I don't care what Nintendo does as long as two things happen.
1. The "gameboy" type platform doesn't disappear. Portable gaming is one of Nintendo's greatest strengths so hopefully it remains seperate and way better then the mobile gaming.
2. Local multiplayer domination. No one can compete with Mario kart and smash bros when it comes to local multiplayer and Nintendo is just plain the best at games that aren't shooters.

I have an Xbox one, a 3ds XL and a wii u. My xbox has become a glorified video player while all my gaming comes from Nintendo. The first thing to interest me for months on the xbox is Ori and the blind forest. Honestly I don't know what those ps4/xbox only gamers play!

@BenAV I think it's a smart move to do remakes in Nintendo's position. Just look at the main user of the 3ds and most of them never played Ocarina of time or Majoras Mask. I myself never had a chance to play it and really look forward to it now.

For me it's all about the games and Nintendo just can't be beat.
