There's absolutely no way it could have been released on Nov. 17th 1985, because that was a Sunday. It had to have been released sometime in October 1985, because it was one of the 4 games I got along with the NES as a present for my 6th birthday the day before Halloween that year. I've tried to change the info on Wikipedia a couple times before but it keeps getting changed back to the incorrect date!!!
I still haven't picked up SS yet, so I have a question — Do you have to stand up to play it, so you can swing the sword better? Because I don't want to be standing for hours at a time, especially after a long day at work. That's the main problem I have with motion controls.
Their facebook page only as 3,777 people at the moment. Even if you assume that that might only be about half the people supporting their cause, that's really not a large number of game sales for Nintendo. They're going to need at least 30,000 people on a petition if they want to be taken seriously.
I thought that Cranky Kong was supposed to be the original DK in DKC, and the DK character you play in the game was his grandson or something. I think that was how it was explained in the original SNES instruction manual, unless my minds playing tricks on me again.

Perhaps a third party could make a gamecube-style classic controller...
Re: Nintendo's Annual Report Continues Incredible Wii Figures
What I really want to know is - What is the wiimote part of the cake made of, and is it also edible?
Re: Talking Point: Wii U - Revolution or Evolution?
It will only be truly revolutionary if it's compatible with the vitality sensor. I think that's something that's never been done before.

Re: Review: Mickey Mania (Super Nintendo)
I love this game...but I hate those exploding skeletons! I still have trouble getting past the second level with them.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th October 2010 (North America)
Sorry, but Capcom and Konami spoiled me with their new "cost-effective" retro games they released.
Re: Billy Mitchell Back on Top of Donkey Kong
Did he do it live, or just send in another "tape"?
Re: Science Makes Another Huge Leap Through Super Mario Bros.
Atari came up with something like this over 25 years ago called the "Mindlink", but it was never released because of the game market crash in 1983.
Re: Wii Games: Summer 2010 Competitions Announced
I've noticed that normal people look really tiny when they're in the same picture with Mario.
Re: Super Mario Kart Hits Virtual Console on Monday
That's like 3 really good games almost all at once. Now there's hardly any major nintendo titles left to complain about not having been released.
