Yea, people like 'lektor' because they want to hear original actors while understanding them in Polish, some hate when mouth movements dont match said words and find it uncanny. Another reason why it works is that it’s because theres also a tiny delay between when actor and lector start speaking, so you can get a grasp of actor's voice and intonation and then follow with translation. If you're imaginative, you can hear original actors speaking Polish.
But, no, its not a thing in games, at least not that I can think of a case of it. Games are dubbed into Polish and its relatively common with AAA games. PlayStation famously had the Localizations 2.0 project in late 2000s/early 2010s which was targetting new territories, including Poland. Smaller games also happen to have Polish included as text-only. The issue recently was mostly only with Nintendo where some publishers wouldn’t add Polish to Switch releases even if it existed on other platforms and language selection was done in-game. There were some rare cases where Polish was included but couldnt be enabled as language was enforced to match console language (such as widely discussed Divinity: Original Sin 2, which eventually fixed the issue)

@ComfyAko I do think that piracy is quite big thing in Poland, especially comparing with other European countries. And it was an even bigger problem back when Ninny could try to get into our market for the first time - late 90s, after becoming independent of USSR. Sony decided they didn't care enough, so they dipped their toes a bit and thus made PlayStation a household name in Poland, while Ninny was avoiding to have presence in Poland altogether
I hope that with this change, they start to have more focus on areas where the current NoE doesn't operate or "half-operates". Like, personally I'd love to see them going harder into Poland. ConQuest does a great job as a local distributor, but I want more out of Ninny. Maybe, we'll finally get Polish language?
