Blimey - I thought the sub header was off as well. Glad to see others agree. I think as a Nintendo-themed site you probably don’t expect that sort of thing.
@Galenmereth Nier is one of the best games I’ve ever played. You are right - the ending is so emotional. I played through 5 more times - each play through is different. Amazing stuff.
I care not a jot whether I have a physical game or not, but I hate the fact that I can only play a download game on one of the 3 x 3DS systems I own. I have an iphone and an ipad and an ipod, and I can use the apps I've paid for on all three. I have a steam account and can play the games I've paid for on any PC I link to it. Nintendo are SO behind on this it is ridiculous.....
Was playing this just yesterday. And it has to be played on an n64..as someone said, the controls aren't right on the emulators. I also have goldeneye X on the n64 and that is a right blast. It adds bots and opens up other levels for multiplayer fun. Cradle with sniper rifles is priceless!
@daveh30 Well that's true if you haven't seen one of the new ones (NOA to blame for that!), and I agree the design of the old one is less than stellar. The new one is really nice - reminiscent of the GBA SP with rounded corners etc. Feels more solid than the new XL one as well. ILets hope Nintendo change their minds!
@daveh30 it isn't just the faceplates - the smaller system is simply nicer, and much better as a portable handheld. Not everyone wants to carry a brick around to do their gaming on..
@Shoxir GBA SP (with the bright screen) is still Nintendo's best designed hardware: perfect size, almost indestructible, immense battery life, endless top quality titles. I have several of them - my Zelda one with the bright screen being my fave!
