Re: Poll: Where Do You Stand On DeNA, Smart Device Games, Nintendo 'Membership' And The Nintendo NX?

easy2pls

Nintendo is so obvious, I can not be the only person who understands their future business model.

1.DeNA and Nintendo partnership
i.The user will only need to have one account. With this account the user will access features for both the mobile game and Nintendo console.
ii. DeNA will control how the NX and mobile game interact online
*Instant Messaging from cellphone to NX or vice versa
*Any outcome on the mobile game will have an effect the connected NX game
*Special game modes that will only be accessible if you brought the mobile game
iii. Traditional online experience that is similar to XBox Live/PSN

2. Amiibo
i.Amiibos are NFC powered figurines that are an integral factor for bridging the gap between mobile devices to the NX
*Unlock special features on the mobile game with the Amiibos
*If user plays with an Amiibo in the mobile game, this could unlock special skins, power ups, maps that would transferred to NX game
*Your Amiibo stats could be increased playing specific mobile games

3. NX will utilize cloud gaming/ the cloud
i. Within this interview it was stated that N.E.R.D.s are researching the possibilities, that could be created combining cloud computing and a consoles GPU.

ii. The NX will be a mixture of an iPhone/3DS/Wii
*Users could purchase data plans at mobile carriers for the NX
I. Could be possibly be sold in cell phone stores
*Portable gaming machine
*Energy efficient home console that will get its power boost through the cloud

For the most part, I'm confident that I covered the basic outline of Nintendo's new business strategy. Nintendo is not playing this upcoming generation. One more tidbit: I suspect that the Wii U was supposed to be the NX, or it could simply be a trail run for the NX.
