Re: There Are "No Plans" To Bring The Full Pokédex To Pokémon Sword And Shield, And Future Games Will Follow Suit

While I've never been one to go above and beyond to try and catch them all or re-use old Pokemon (Come on, part of the experience of a new Pokemon game is to use new Pokemon), it is absolutely nice to have the option/commodity to do so.

This decision will not deter me from buying the game, but I do see and agree with the backlash this decision has brought.

It doesn't make sense that this is the first mainline Pokemon game on an actual home console. The most powerful console that a mainline Pokemon game has graced - and yet, it is being shorted tremendously in terms of content. This would seem more plausible in a portable gaming device due to system or memory limitations but the Switch? Hell, the Switch out to have a Pokemon game with ALL the regions and ALL the Pokemon.

A Mario and Luigi title with Wario and Waluigi would be a dream come true game for me, as they haven't had a relevant role in quite some time... Well, Waluigi never really has besides Mario Party 3 and Mario Tennis, but only because that was his debut. Everything after that has just been as a filler character/Wario's partner.

As much as I want to play it, 39.99 is what the PS4/Xbox One versions went for, physical copies at that... Unless there's a price reduction, a physical copy, or stellar reviews follow, I'll have to be patient with this one. Besides, there are many good games to occupy myself at the time with like Odyssey, Xenoblade, Pokemon, and Fire Emblem Warriors.
