Re: Pokémon Sun and Moon Could Use QR Codes in Interesting Ways

carpark72

People are complaining about hacked pokemon and stuff... the website says explicitly that QR codes are for scanning in order to learn where you can catch that pokemon in-game.

It will likely be like: "You got an eevee in Pokemon Ga-Ole, now scan to learn where you can capture one in Sun/Moon."

Also, it seems scanning for one you have already caught would show its info. I feel like the QR codes on the Ga-Ole plates are more for a quick and easy way to read a pokedex entry of that pokemon you just received, as if you were scanning a pokemon standing in front of you in the games/anime.

@consolfreak1982 Calm down, it's been 11 months since the last main series game. We're spoiled to have been receiving them each year. You're upset over your own conclusion-jumping about business strategies based on just a handful of games that don't fit into your taste. A lot of people are happy or excited for the very things you're complaining about. Personally I'm happy to see them try out different stuff for Pokemon, even if it might mean waiting a little longer for the next main series title--especially since IMO those are starting to get pretty stale.

Re: We're Pretty Sure We Need These Earthbound Techo Planners In Our Lives

@rdrunner1178 They ship internationally, I've used a Hobonichi Techo for 2 years now. They only recently (in 2014) had an English version of the book due to international popularity, so if the planners continue to gain more users I imagine in a year or two they'll consider actually selling them in other countries (or I hope--I don't want to spend $12 on shipping every time I buy from them -_-

It's all rather expensive, though. These covers cost ~$25 each.
