@StarPoint Couldn't agree more! You put it well, so I don't have to try to explain my disappointment. I was so excited for the next Metroid Prime, but I've been let down, perhaps because of my high expectations after such a long wait. I think it's a good game, but not much Metroid in it. Oh well. I haven't finished it either and I may end up liking it more by the end, but really annoyed with the handholding right now and the completely linear nature of the game. Even when the game tells you to "go wherever you want," you can't do it, and marking the map for the next location is not a Metroid thing. There's not much sense of exploration or isolation, not much discovery, and the disconnected areas are annoying.
I’m expecting a November release, a month that has had most of the Metroid releases already. I’d love to be wrong, so that we get it earlier. Good to see progress though.
Not a fan of these key card and will not be getting any. As others have mentioned, I’d rather just buy digital.
To me, this seems like part of the transition to only digital games. That is the path we are on, whether we like it or not. I would not be surprised if this is the last Nintendo console to use physical games.
@Moonlessky I'll echo was has already been said. The lack of multiplayer is not a problem with this game at all. It is an engrossing solo game with limitless options to explore. You will still encounter planets that others have discovered and can upload the planets you find.
Nintendo didn’t secure a jail term or impose a extortionate fine. The tone of this article is really off. Some guy broke the law, was found guilty in a court, and then punished according to the law.
I have issues with how Nintendo manages their legacy content, but it is their content. I have no problem with any company using the law to protect their products.
All three of my sets drift, including the one that was repaired by Nintendo. I even returned a fourth set to the store after it started drifting. I have no doubt that this is a design flaw. I want Nintendo to acknowledge this and offer a real solution.
@Tandy255 I completely agree. I'm not paying $60 for this game, even though it looks great. I expect the price will drop pretty quickly or I'll be able to pick up a used copy for a much lower price.

So, no more item duplication? How lame.
