It'll be the 3ds- when the Wii U starts selling, everyone will want to come back and be best buddies with Nintendo. I agree they've messed up again but i believe that this time next year the the Wii U will be in a different place. Keep the faith guys

It'll ask questions about the product and let Nintendo know it exists. Nintendo may very well already be aware and have an update ready when it ships in two weeks where if the latest update isn't installed, you can't play games on the 3ds. Some interesting things in that video is that a) there was no gamplay in the video, b) resident evil's save data was corrupt (is it really worth the risk?) and c) only one game per card- surely the point of having an r4 card, among other obvious reasons, was so that all the games could be on one card? Piracy means gaming quality suffers so don't stand for it. 3ds is on a roll, don't let this ruin it.

They seem to get the point that consoles take time to build it's user base. EA should have had faith and patience too.

I hope this guy is booted. Not professional at all. How can he critizise after that disasterous Sims launch? People have requested the simplest things yet they get zilch from them. I'm not denying Nintendo got the Wii U launch completely wrong and messed it up but remeber how the 3ds started? Now look at it. When the Wii U is doing better thos time next year, EA will look foolish and come crawling back, hopefully with the same versions of games as other consoles.
I also think they are relying too much on "next gen" and mobiles. Facebook games are not as popular as they used to be, most want mobile games which are free and when the PS4 and next xbox launch later this year, not many people will splash out because money is tighter than ever. EA are heading for a fall and it'll be sooner than they expect. Question is, will anyone be prepared to save them when they do?

My personal take is that in the end they will discontinue the original model and only make xl versions available.

I've been reading a lot of these types of stories lately. Last one i read was someone spouting about nintendo should consider just making games. At the moment people just want to batter Nintendo because it's trendy at the moment. I'd NEVER play any Nintendo game on a smartphone as most rely on buttons. As good as rayman is on android, the lack of buttons still makes some parts harder than they should be. Doing that to a mario game would be suicidal, especially when some parts need timed jumps. Buttons will always be better for gaming, end of. Only certain games benefit from swiping the screen, and mario ain't one of them.

Very excited for this. Only wish my old 3ds hadn't conked out because i can't justify trading in my new red 3ds which they swapped it with. It's 8 characters from what i've read so far.

Either the HD version will be coming to Wii U, which would be a great fit, or a new adventure is coming soon. Hopefully we may see two versions of a new game- one for portables and and for home consoles. That would be sweet

I've done this myself. It does include past purchases but not ambassador games. It's strange filling in a survey for downloads i lost when my blue 3ds died. Now all they need to do is to have one account which ties everything and not console lock downloaded games, i'll be even happier.

Yes yes yes! Make it a 3ds version with a digital spellbook. Thank god the ps3 version did so well, it means now ds/3ds owners could still experience it yet I also read a few days ago that fans were starting work on a translation. That may also be a reason why it's considered. I'd love an E3 reveal- it would make my year

May be a slightly barmy idea, but why not have an option to play in your own region or internationally? Wonder why it's region locked though? Seriously, the Wii U needs some good news now

Never got round to downloading the wii version but i liked the demo. Hoping for a demo.of it on 3ds before i decide.

I tweeted naughty dog about a revival and they said that it was an activision project as they own the IP. Tweeted activision to see what they say about it.

Well done guys a big achievement and just goes to show the quality of the ds library (i know it had shovelware but a lot of the games are cracking).
This was my first console and i still have it. I use my 3ds now but i won't get rid of it. The best christmas present i ever had

Hm, maybe it was left in on purpose to tease fans and see if anyone found it? Luckily though there was no personal information. It does make me a little worried though. When Nintendo has been hacked before, nothing ever got out due to the system they used. I hope this will stay the case. Still all those teasers makes it an interesting read....
