@acachewowow We have something similar in Ireland where you need to pay a TV license to cover the costs of our national broadcast service. I don't watch TV so I never pay it. That and our National Broadcaster constantly platforms racists and homophobes so they don't deserve my money
@HappyMaskedGuy Has anybody had the talk with you yet that being a contrarian online isn't a substitution for an actual personality? For someone self reporting as a hater of this website, you also seem to spend quite a bit of your time trawling the comment sections to badmouth anything and everything. Maybe go outside for a walk and clear your head a bit. You can even bring your switch.
@HappyMaskedGuy It sounds like this really isn't a game for you and that's okay. You don't need to always be the intended audience. While it won't ever have giant mass appeal, any attempts to give people an entry point into working on exercise and fitness should be supported in my opinion. Plus the Wii fit sold over 22 Million copies. I don't see how that would exactly be seen as something that would damage a companies credibility
Free to start sounds shady as hell. I love Kirby. Kirby is my happy ball of joy but I'm very trepidatious about this. I'll download it and give it a go but being honest, the SNES Kirby games will probably win my affections much more
The great thing is being able to skip the character tweaking sections if they aren't your thing and just skip to the battles. I love to micromanage my characters stats so I'll happily put a lot of hours into this. Others won't want to, so at least they can streamline it and get right into the fighting
@Blizzia What was going through my mind was the fact that online connected users end up sharing areas on the map where they have been killed or went through troubles. Perhaps they can analyse this data to fine tune the harder difficulty.
I love how some people in this thread just jump towards saying people don't take care of their devices. We're on a Nintendo based news website so we would skew towards the older end of the market demographic. I'm in my mid twenties as are most of my friends. We all use screen protectors, hard cases for our switches on the go and take care when docking the switch yet many of us have experienced Joy Con drift in at least one of our devices. To say we are all neglecting proper care of our devices is very disingenuous.
If there was cosmetic damage to the Joy Cons when they get sent for repair then the warranty would be deemed void. This isn't happening. Nintendo keeps fixing them. This in and of itself highlights that there is an issue with the hardware itself and not an act of misadventure on the part of the consumer.
Both me and my partner bought Switches on release. We've both had to get new Left Joy Cons because of drift. My partners one is intermittent but the drift on mine is constant any time it is connected.
@Anti-Matter certain colors are only available as either a left or a right Joy Con rather than as both. This would make it less than the 144 possibilities
While I'm happy that there's more colour options, I'd be much happier if they did some work to resolve the Joycon drift issue. Me and my partner both had to replace the left joycons due to it.
It's hard to make colour combos if you have an abundance of right joycons and a pile of broken left ones
I've been really enjoying it after a few hours of playing. That said, it definitely needs a few quality of life improvements as it can get a little buggy at times. Overall, there's a really great game there but it needs a bit of love and polish
I don't have a single creative bone in my body so I doubt I'd ever make my own levels. I think I'll relegate getting this game to a time when there's a lull with nothing much else jumping out at me. I have no doubt that playing the many levels created by others would be fun but I don't feel it's worth the money right this minute
I have my Voucher ready and waiting for me to download it once it's available. I really enjoy Fire Emblem games and I'm hoping this iteration is a fresh take on the genre.
I mainly bought it because of the low price point and nostalgia of a game I sort of remember playing years back. It's not fantastic but it will tide me over until Fire Emblem next month.

Re: Deals: Micro SD Card Prices Tumble To All-Time Low On Amazon
I filled my 200 GB to the brim so I got a 400 GB one last week. It's badly needed considering how many games that I want are coming out at the moment.

Re: Poll: Astral Chain Is Out Today, Are You Getting It?
Sitting in work at the moment with my Switch in my bag. Gonna give it a few minutes of play at lunch and then get stuck into it later.

This is exciting. Fire Emblem games have always had good replayability and this will make it even more so.
